Abstract
The had of the dictatorship project at the National Archives retires and denounces abandonment. It wasn't an easy decision to make. Inês Stampa spent 40 years working at the National Archives. Of these, 17 were dedicated to the Reference Centre for Political Struggles in Brazil - Memórias Reveladas (Revealed Memories), an award-winning research centre on the 1964 military dictatorship. But she was left with no alternative: she decided to retire.
