The Meta story about blocking Canadian news sources disproportionally affects Indigenous and Northern communities, whose news sources predominantly post and circulate news through Facebook. Additionally, this block become very dangerous when two large evacuations from wildfire were required and all Facebook sources were blocked. (comments from JR for relevancy)
