Abstract
For nearly 60 years, Chicago-based Kartemquin Films has been reeling viewers in by spotlighting difficult social and political issues, including immigration, labor issues, stem-cell research and women’s rights. After four years of intensive work, WashU’s Film & Media Archive is making the company’s extensive archive of materials, dating from 1966 to 2008, accessible to scholars and the public.
